Article Processing Charges (APC)

Article Processing Charges (APC)

Digital Learning Review strives for openness and transparency in respect of all possible fees related to publication. It is recommended that authors familiarize themselves with the APC policy of the journal prior to submission.

The possible Article Processing Charge (APC), if any, might contribute to covering the expenses connected with such aspects of scholarly publishing as:

  • Editorial and manuscript management
  • Peer-review process administration
  • Copyediting and manuscript preparation
  • Typesetting and article production
  • Online publication and hosting

No APC Policy

There is no charge at present for the submission, peer review, and publishing of accepted manuscripts in Digital Learning Review.

It is not necessary for authors to make any payment for submitting their manuscripts or the peer-reviewing process.

APC Policy

An Article Processing Charge may apply to manuscripts accepted for publication. If an APC is applicable, the corresponding author will be clearly informed about the applicable charge and payment requirements after the manuscript has been accepted but before publication.

The journal aims to provide clear information about any applicable charges and related payment procedures to ensure transparency for all authors.

Editorial Independence

The APC, if applicable, is entirely distinct from the editorial and peer review process. Payment or promise of payment of an APC does not necessarily mean that the manuscript will be accepted for publication.

All manuscripts are reviewed in terms of academic value, novelty, relevance, rigor, ethics, and contribution to the field of digital education. Financial factors do not affect the decision to accept or reject submitted manuscripts academically.
